Sara Lynn Evans (born February 5 7th, 1971) was the oldest of seven children who were raised by her parents at their farms situated in New Franklin Missouri. By the age of five, music was an integral part of Sara's daily life. The singer began her professional career at age 16 when she performed in an entertainment venue near Columbia Missouri for two years. In 1991 she relocated in Nashville Tennessee, with the goal of becoming a professional of country music. The songwriter Harlan Howard heard Sara as she sang a song demo for one of his songs Tiger By the Tail at County Q Studios and decided that she would sing the music of Harlan Howard. She became a RCA artist. Evans was the first artist to release her debut record Three Chords and the Truth was released in 1997. It was praised by the press for her return to the traditional style of country music and appeared on numerous lists of the top 10 albums of 1997. In the 70s, her first feature film was made. Then she appeared in two other French feature length films. Her return to Hollywood a few years later for a Hollywood career. Goodfellas gave her the most Hollywood commercial success. It was also credited with several prestigious awards, including an Academy Award.
